Our second line
A hair topper is judged in a mirror, by the woman wearing it, with her own hair lying beside it. There is nowhere to hide. Every topper we make is hand-ventilated one strand at a time, because a parting is the one thing a machine has never been able to imitate.

Made for one head, not for a size chart
Thinning does not arrive in standard sizes. It starts at the parting, or at the crown, or along one side, and it spreads differently on every woman.
So we cut the base to the area that needs covering, set the density to match the hair it will sit against, and shade the roots to the client’s own regrowth. A topper made this way disappears. A topper made to a size chart sits on top of the head like a hat.
Choose the base
Silk base
The knots are tied underneath and hidden beneath a second layer, so the parting shows scalp-coloured silk rather than mesh. The most convincing parting we can make.
For a client who parts her own hair in daylight and will inspect it.
Mono base
Hand-tied into a fine monofilament. More durable than silk and slightly more visible from directly above. Hair moves freely in any direction.
For a client who wears it every day rather than for occasions.
Lace front + mono
A lace front hairline blended into a mono top. For a client who wants to wear the hair back off the face without exposing an edge.
For a client who ties her hair up.
Base sizes
Measure the thinning area at its widest and its longest, then add roughly an inch each way so the pressure clips sit on hair strong enough to hold them.
| 5″ × 6″ | Early thinning at the parting only |
| 6″ × 7″ | The size most orders land on — parting plus crown |
| 7″ × 8″ | Wider crown coverage |
| Custom | Cut to a template or a photograph you send us |
Length, density and roots
Density matters more on a topper than on a wig. Too heavy and it sits above the client’s own hair like a separate layer; too light and the base shows through. We build toppers at 110–130% as standard and adjust against the hair it will be worn with.
Root shadow is the detail most suppliers skip. A parting that is the same colour from scalp to tip reads as artificial, because real regrowth is always darker at the root. We shade the first centimetre by hand on request, at no extra cost — it takes an artisan twenty minutes and it is the difference between believable and not.

Colour matching
Send a cutting taken from the mid-length of the client’s hair, never from the ends — ends are sun-lightened and will give you a match that is a shade too warm.
We check every match twice: once under daylight and once under warm indoor light. A match that only works under one of the two will fail in the client’s bathroom mirror.

Questions we get asked
How do I choose the base size?
Measure the thinning area at its widest and longest point, then add an inch in each direction so the clips sit on hair that can hold them. If in doubt, send us a photograph of the crown and we will tell you.
Will the parting look like real scalp?
On a silk base, yes — the knots sit under a second layer, so what shows is fabric the colour of scalp, not mesh. On a mono base you will see the knots if you look closely from above.
How long does a topper last?
Six to twelve months in regular wear, depending on how often it is washed and heat-styled. Silk bases outlast mono bases because the knots are protected.
Can you match my client’s own hair?
Send a cutting from the mid-length, not the ends — ends are always lighter. We match under daylight and under warm light, because a match that only works in one is not a match.
What is the minimum order?
Five pieces. Three for a first sample order.
Current models
Base, size, density, length and colour are all made to order. These are starting points.
Send us a photograph of the crown and a cutting of the client’s hair. We will come back with a specification, a price and a lead time.
